Greetings From West Palm Beach

The wait was long but well worth it. After standing on line for 4 hours in an adjacent parking garage (with out air conditioning!) then suffering an additional 1 hour wait on the badge line, we made our way to the main speaker hall. There we heard a veritable "Who's Who?" of the Conservative movement. Charlie Kirk kicked off the evening by exhorting the nearly 6,000 attendees to play by the rules dictated by the Democrats during the last election in the pivotal presidential election next year.
Harmeet Dhillion, Representatives Anna Paulina Luna, Byron Donalds and Matt Gaetz. thrilled the audience with their inspiring calls to action.
In addition to Megyn Kelly and Vivek Ramaswamy the incomparable Tucker Carlson wowed the audience with a sobering reminder of what is at stake next year.
The highlight of the evening was President Donald J. Trump . It certainly was a night to remember.
Representative Will Robinson Next Tuesday
Don't forget, our friend and State Representative Will Robinson (District 71) will join us next Tuesday, July 18. He will share some of the behind the scenes dynamics that curred during the most recent legislative session. As always, Rep. Robinson will be happy to answer your questions so mark your calendars!
Our Cupboards Are Empty!
We have been so busy with our exciting speaker schedule that we totally ignored our snack bar! We are in serious need of the following items:
- Plastic forks and knives
- Dinner plates
- Napkins
- Bowls
- Beverage cups (coffee and cold drinks)
- Bottled soda
So for the last 2 meetings prior to our summer break, we ask all attendees to please bring one or more of these items to help replenish our stock.
A Challenger For Vern Buchanan On July 25
We announced during our meeting a recent meeting that Vern Buchanan has a challenger for the FL-16 Congressional seat. Well meet the challenger: Jason "Eddie" Speir will be running against Vern for that seat in next year's Republican primary.
Eddie will be the featured speaker at our meeting on July 25. So be sure to be on hand to learn more about the candidate. Remember folks, you heard it at Manatee Patriots first!
No Meetings During Our Summer Break (August 1 through September 12)
July 25 will be the final meeting prior to our 6-week Summer Break. So be sure to join in the fun before we enter the "dog days of Summer".
