A Night To Remember
It was more than a full house at the Honeybell Hall at Mixon Farms for our Annual Potluck Christmas Party last Tuesday, December 13. The potluck tables were brimming with yummy entries and the dessert table overflowing with holiday cheer and was dominated by a huge "Happy 104th Birthday" cake honoring WWII veteran John Skeen.
Captain Matt hosted the event and Bob White, Chairman of the Liberty Caucus of Florida delivered a rousing presentation. The night concluded with newly elected School Board member Richard Tatem leading the audience in a round of traditional Christmas Carols. A great time was had by all as we celebrated the season with friendship. We have posted the video of the entire evening's festivities on our website and may be viewed by clicking this link.
No Meetings For the Next 2 Weeks
We will be on our Christmas break December 20 and December 27. But we have an exciting schedule planned starting with the New Year.
We will be kicking off our schedule of speakers on January 3, 2023 with a Commitment Night featuring Mike Rahn, Cindy Spray and Sunshine Mathews.
This will be followed on January 10 with a presentation by the Manatee County Supervisor of Elections, Mike Bennett. Mike will discuss the results of the 2022 Elections.

World Premiere of "NonCompliant 2: The Sheriff"
A small but enthusiastic contingent of Manatee Patriots subscribers attended the World Premiere of KrisAnne Hall's latest documentary film "NonCompliant 2: The Sheriff". The film was screened to a packed outdoor theater at the spectacular The River at Tampa Bay Church in Tampa. The venue had a particular significance as the pastor - Reverend Rodney Howard-Browne - was featured in the film as being jailed by the Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister for violating the Covid lockdown orders. This was a powerful documentary with a profound message for all Liberty-loving Americans.

Volunteers Still Needed At The Manatee County Fair
This is a reminder that the 107th Manatee County Fair will be held on January 12th through the 22nd, 2023 at the Manatee County Fair Grounds in Palmetto. This annual event draws thousands of visitors and is great family fun. Our friends at the Manatee County Republican Executive Committee (MCREC) will be hosting a table there again this year. They will be distributing information flyers, and assisting with voter registration.
We are asking all Manatee Patriots subscribers to volunteer for a few hours during the fair. It's a tremendous way to meet your neighbors and help promote the Republican Party. The MCREC has provided an online form so that signing up is easy. Just click here, fill in your contact information and the day(s) and time slot(s) you are interested in and that's it!

Manatee County Legislative Delegation Meeting
Don't forget! The annual Manatee County Legislative Delegation Meeting will be held on January 12, 2023 between 8:30am-Noon. The meeting will take place at the Bradenton City Council Chambers located at 101 12th St W, Bradenton, Fl 34205.
This is an excellent opportunity to address your elected representatives before they head off to their new offices. | |

You may recall in our previous newsletter that the Supreme Court is scheduled to review a case brought by the Brunson brothers. This extraordinary case contends that all US Congressmen and Senators who voted to certify the 2020 Presidential election are guilty of treason! It is a miracle that this case has proceeded this far. So in order to motivate the court to take up the case, our friends at Defend Florida have initiated a letter writing campaign. New "Tech Censorship" Study Group Being Formed
The recent release of the "Twitter Files" by Elon Musk illustrates just how far tech companies have gone to censor the voices of Conservatives. On May 24, 2021 Governor Ron DeSantis signed SB 7072 holding Big Tech companies accountable by driving transparency and safeguarding Floridians’ ability to access and participate in online platforms. But a question remains on how effective this has been in curbing social media censorship. Well you should know that even our humble Manatee Patriots Facebook group page is routinely censored for "violating community standards". So we are forming a group to study the effectiveness of this new law and determine if there are any refinements that need to be included prior to the commencement of the 2023 Florida State Legislative session.
