Dear Guest,

A Freedom Fighter

We were delighted to have Dr. Renata Moon as the featured speaker at our meeting last Tuesday evening.

Dr. Moon began her presentation with a poignant review of her family's life under Communism. As a young girl, she visited her grandparents in what was then Communist Czechoslovakia. She recalled how the grocery stores were virtually barren and that people's purchasing decisions were based on which foodstuffs were the least rotten. Her mother recalled that the motivation to work was absent and that how the population "..pretended to work and they pretended to pay us".

She then drew stark parallels between life under Communism behind the Iron Curtain and contemporary American life such as the similarity between people's "papers" and the proposed "Vaccine Passports" proposed under the Biden regime.  Dr. Moon expressed her fears that America has entered the beginning stages of Communism and that we should become vocal and fight desperately to retain our freedoms.

We have dutifully recorded the good doctor's presentation in its entirety and have uploaded it to the "Past Meetings Video" page on our website.  You may access this powerful presentation by clicking this link.

We appreciate Dr. Moon sharing her thoughts with us and look forward to having her as a guest at a future meeting.

"...shall not be infringed."

Now some good news.  On Tuesday, the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners voted to adopt a resolution to make the county a Second Amendment Sanctuary.  With this action, Manatee County joins 40 other Florida counties in adopting a similar resolution.  The vote was 6-1 in favor with only Commissioner George Kruse opposing the measure.

We want to thank the Board of County Commissioners in recognizing the importance of embracing our 2nd Amendment rights.
