We hear candidates' appeals during their elections, cast our votes and then cross our fingers hoping that they retain their campaign promises while in office. But Chad Choate dismissed any myths to the contrary last Tuesday evening as he delivered an informative and sincere presentation on issues confronting the Manatee County School Board. On several occasions, Chad referred to actions being taken that perfectly align with his campaign promises. It was simply fantastic! This truly was an example of how democracy is supposed to work.
