A Paradigm Shift For Manatee Patriots

During our last meeting Jack May presented the plan for engaging with our Electeds (that is short for "Elected Officials"). In it, he proposed new rules - called Connection Building - for engagement which represent a dramatic departure from our current Action Teams approach in a number of ways. Jack explained that: - Action Teams were based on key issues of interest to our subscriber base.
- The new Connection Builders approach starts with the Electeds.
- The goals of the new approach is to identify the issues that each Elected can control and then pursue action to influence their actions.
To illustrate, consider our Election Integrity Action Team. The team was wildly successful in registering new Republican voters with a Faith-based Get Out the Vote drive. However, they were less successful in enlisting local Electeds in initiating Election Integrity legislation simply because none of them were assigned to that domain in the Legislature. Our new approach identifies the domain to which each Elected is assigned and then a strategy for influencing legislative outcomes is followed. For example, Tommy Gregory is the Chairman of the Florida House Judiciary Committee during the next legislative session. So the plan would be to "lobby" for changes in First Amendment rights such as punishing Tech Companies for censorship. That is something within Tommy's jurisdiction.
This new approach will include creating a "Connection Team" for each Elected. To that end, all Manatee Patriots subscribers are invited to sign up starting today to join this effort. To do so, we have created a short sign up form with may be accessed by clicking this link. Please note that we are allowing each interested subscriber to select 2 Electeds with whom they would like to "connect".
This new program will be rolled out over the next few weeks. So we are asking everyone to please review the plan. We have uploaded Jack's presentation to the Downloads Page of our website. You download the entire presentation by visiting this page. To go there now, simply click on the image below.
School Board Chairman Chad Choate To Speak At Our Next Meeting!

The following week, February 7, we have our own Jarvis Williams speaking on the state of Sharia Law in America. Jarvis has been following the disturbing trend of how Sharia is infiltrating into many aspects of American life so you won't want to miss this intriguing presentation.
And don't forget! During February we will be hosting Alex Newman and General Michael Flynn as speakers. These conservative leaders are scheduled to speak during the following meetings: - February 21 - Alex Newman
- February 28 - General Michael Flynn
These events are certain to be well attended so mark your calendars and be sure to come early to guarantee your seat!
Just click on the "Calendar" link on our website (https://manateepatriots.us) to stay up to date with all of our great speakers in the coming weeks.
So What Is A "Potluck Dinner" Anyway?
Some folks define a "Potluck Dinner" as an event where attendees bring a random dish. But it is way more than a mere menu item. It is a token of appreciation for the friendship of our fellow Conservatives as we stand up to the evils of modern Liberalism. Sharing a dinner makes us all one family just as Jesus did on many occasions. So please, show your appreciation and bring whatever you can.
And Don't Forget The Soda!
