Dr. Jason Wysong Selected As Superintendent
In a surprise move on Tuesday, Dr. Jason Wysong was selected as the new Manatee County Schools Superintendent. The vote by the Manatee County School Board was 4-1 with Board Chairman Chad Choate casting his vote for Doug Wagner.
Dr. Wysong comes from the Seminole County school system which is currently ranked within the top school systems in the state. Dr. Wysong brings an impressive set of academic credentials and we wish him the best of luck in his new position.
"Sustainable Development" + War On Farmers = Agenda 2030

Michael Sabga from JBS delivered a troubling presentation on the current War On Farmers. Instigated by the UN 50 years ago, Michael showed how in other countries, particularly Canada and the Netherlands, governments are usurping farmland in a vain attempt to control nitrogen contributing to global warming all but destroying those countries ability to produce food. Here in the US, Michael related the current trend towards "15 Minute Cities" to promote "Sustainable Development" as a similar effort to concentrate population into smaller living areas to enable more control by the government. It was a chilling presentation indeed.
We have captured Michael's presentation in its entirely and have uploaded it to the "Past Meetings Videos" page on our website. You access this page by clicking here.

"Where Woke Comes To Die"
| |
Earlier this week, Governor Ron DeSantis conducted a bill-signing ceremony at the New College of Florida. Present at the signing were New College of Florida President Richard Corcoran and Trustee Christopher Rufo as well as Pastor Ivan Castro and his wife Betty.
3 bills past during the recent legislative session were signed into law. One of these - SB 266 - defunds all efforts related to DEI throughout the entire higher education system in the State of Florida proving categorically that Florida is the place woke goes to die.

Questions For Mike Bennett
| |
We routinely meet with the Manatee County Supervisor of Elections - Mike Bennett - to stay abreast of voter roll maintenance. This week we asked Mr. Bennett how the new Election Integrity measures recently signed into law will affect his operations. Mike deferred as he said that he and other Supervisors of Elections will be meeting with Secretary of State Cord Byrd over the weekend. But he offered to bring up any questions we had directly with the Secretary. So we thought we would gather questions from our subscribers as well. If you have a question, we ask that you simply submit it using the "Contact" form on our website. Just click on the button below to go there. We will aggregate all questions and submit them to Mike tomorrow afternoon. So please try to submit your questions by no later than noon tomorrow.
