Eddie graduated from the University of North Colorado with a degree in Computer Information Systems and immediately started his own computer consulting company in 1994. Five years later, he launched the software financial software company, Mortgage Cadence, which became Colorado’s fastest-growing company and won numerous Inc. 500 designations for its rapid success.
In 2010, Eddie sold his company to Accenture, retired, and moved with his wife and 3 children to Bradenton. Never one to sit still, Eddie became the executive producer for the film, Ragamuffin, a story about the life of Christian singer, Rich Mullins. Then, Eddie and his wife, Claire, founded in 2013 the private Christian school, Inspiration Academy. Inspiration Academy is “a transformational school that works from the inside out to produce winning habits of selflessness, discipline, and authentic care for others.”
This year, Eddie served until May as a Governor DeSantis-appointed trustee for New College of Florida. He recognized this opportunity as an inflection point for education and the wider culture of the country. This run for Congress is Eddie’s first foray into politics. He believes he brings unique insights across multiple domains and tremendous energy to the race and looks forward to serving all the good people of District 16. | |
