Dear Guest,

A Practicing Pediatrician and Health Freedom Advocate

We are delighted to have Dr. Renata Moon as the featured speaker at the next Manatee Patriots meeting.

Dr. Moon will cover the following topics:
  • Medical Education
  • Parental rights in Health care
  • Silencing and censorship of doctors
It has been sometime since we hosted a speaker on the topic of Health Freedom. And with more details being revealed daily about the COVID scandal, this presentation is particularly relevant. So be sure to be on hand next Tuesday at Manatee Patriots.

The Leadership Institute Returns in April

Dena Espenschied of the Leadership Institute returns to Manatee Patriots on April 4.  Dena is a veteran of political campaigns as small as city council and as large as a presidential campaign. She has served in most campaign positions, including volunteer coordinator, regional field director, political director, and statewide spokesperson. She has overseen ballot qualification, volunteer recruitment and training, and get-out-the-vote efforts. She has formulated communication strategies, organized events, and done personal solicitation. In campaign and public policy, Dena is a “Jill of all Trades”.

So mark you calendars and be on hand to catch Dena's presentation.

Rep. Mike Beltran To Be A Featured Speaker

We are also excited to announce that Florida House Representative (District 70) Mike Beltran will be our featured speaker on May 9.  This will be Mike's first appearance at Manatee Patriots so we hope everyone turns out and extends him a warm Manatee Patriots welcome.

Hear About The Bradenton Classical Academy (BCA)

Sherri Davidson - Chair of the Board of the Bradenton Classical Academy - will be our featured speaker on April 18.  BCA is a Public Charter School which provides a classical education that promotes good citizenship.  The school serves Manatee County and is a wonderful asset in our backyard!  So mark you calendars to learn more about this terrific organization.

Don't Forget The Potluck Dinner!

It has been a long-standing tradition at Manatee Patriots to host a Potluck Dinner at every meeting.  We do this in order to promote fellowship among like-minded Conservatives and to foster an atmosphere of giving.  But with our attendance increasing every week, we have a lot more folks to feed.  So all attendees are asked to bring an item for our Potluck Dinner at every meeting.  It doesn't have to be elaborate; a salad, or even a dessert item.  So please bring what you can and enjoy the meeting!

"God's Body, God's Choice"

God’s Body, His Choice

The Committee on Doctrine of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops issued a lengthy statement forbidding gender reassignment surgery and other means to alter one’s natural sex appearance. “What is true of creation as a whole is true of human nature in particular: there is an order in human nature that we are called to respect,” the bishops write. “In fact, human nature deserves utmost respect since humanity occupies a singular place in the created order, being created in the image of God (Gen. 1:27). To find fulfillment as human persons, to find true happiness, we must respect that order. We did not create human nature; it is a gift from a loving Creator. Nor do we ‘own’ our human nature, as if it were something that we are free to make use of in any way we please. Thus, genuine respect for human dignity requires that decisions about the use of technology be guided by genuine respect for this created order.” The guidance in “Doctrinal Note on the Moral Limits to Technological Manipulation of the Human Body” applies to both Catholic patients and physicians.

What Does It Mean To Be "Woke"?

In the war of ideas, words become weapons.  And the Left is particularly adroit at wielding language to attack traditional values while concealing their true intent.  An example is the use of the label "Diversity, equity and inclusion".  While sounding well intentioned, these words conceal a highly racist ideology which purports that America is composed of oppressors and the oppressed which seeks "justice" by advancing one group of people over another.  The message here is that in order to win this war, we need to know the definitions of the words used by the Left.

Russ Vought - the founder for Citizens for Renewing America - has provided a valuable summary of what "Woke" means.  To read the full article, simply click the image below.

MCRLC Hosts "The Politics of War"

The Manatee County Republican Liberty Caucus is joined by Military Matters for their monthly social dinner Thursday March 30th 6pm in the Honeybell Room of Mixon's Fruit Farm. A discussion led by two veterans and well known panelists on American Foreign Policy will address what our nation's policy is and ought to be. Jimmy T. Smith is a former Florida State Representative and Citrus County Commissioner and is now a reformed politician serving as the state coalitions director for Concerned Veterans for America. Mark Young is an "anti-journalist" political media commentator with the Manatee Herald and is known as the conservative voice of Manatee County. Program is open to the public and free. Pay $10 at the door only if you wish to eat and drink. RSVP not required but appreciated.
